About the TSNLA…

The Third Sector National Learning Alliance (TSNLA) is the new national alliance of voluntary and community organisations and social enterprises involved in learning and skills.

TSNLA was formed after extensive consultation with the sector showed widespread support for an informed and authoritative voice for Third Sector learning providers.

Our vision

The TSNLA will be…

• a powerful, credible and authoritative national advocate for Third Sector providers of learning and skills;

• inclusive, equitable and diverse;

• membership-led, accessible and transparent; and

• well connected through its membership forming a national communication and consultative network.

Delivering our vision

The TSNLA will:

• stimulate, inform and listen to the views of Third Sector learning and skills providers;

• work constructively across government and with all key stakeholders to influence policy;

• undertake or commission research for and about Third Sector learning and skills providers;

• gather, analyse and circulate information relevant to learning and skills in the Third Sector; and

• make timely, informed and effective interventions to enable Third Sector learning and skills providers to communicate well with each other, with policy makers and funders, and with the wider learning and skills sector.

Membership fees

Full membership for Third Sector organisations:

• Turnover of under £100,000 – £75.

• Turnover between £100,001 and £1 million – £275.

• Turnover between £1 million and £5 million – £475.

• Turnover between £5 million and £10 million – £975.

• Turnover of £10 million or more – £1,975.

Membership prices are set annually by the TSNLA Board. Prices stated are for 2010 and are inclusive of VAT.

Membership is valid for one year.
